Elise Hassey has an Honours degree from COFA in Fine Arts (Photomedia). Elise grew up in the small coastal town of Yamba, where she developed an interest of customs, rites of passage, community and people co-existing within the natural environment. With authenticity and intuition she creates engaging and sincere portraiture of a diverse range of peoples throughout the world. She is also fascinated with surreal and majestic landscapes - traveling to some of the most remote and obscure corners of the globe to capture them. As an artist, Elise has enjoyed notable success with numerous solo and group showings across Australia and her work has taken her to places as far-ranging as The North Pole, Namibia, Cambodia, Mongolia, Lake Como and East Arnhem Land. Her photography has been published in National Geographic, Vogue, Vogue Living,  Gourmet Traveller, Delicious, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Tatler, Telegraph UK, The Australian, Wish, Travel & Luxury, Condé Nast and has worked with an  impressive list of clients, among them Mercedes Benz, Moet & Chandon, One & Only and Chanel.
